Autism Awareness Training

Date: Wednesday 25th September

Venue: Fosse Way School, Longfellow Road, Radstock, BA3 3AL

Times: Doors open at 1830 for teas and coffees for prompt start at 1900 to finish at 2130.

Parking: Plenty of on street parking outside school entrance

Session details:

This session will cover: how to implement good practice through a range of strategies, approaches and reasonable adjustments, raises awareness of autism and introduces the three areas of difference.

Jason Towells, the resident manager and member of the senior management team of Fosse Way School, will be providing the training.

We recommend you attend a Module 7 – Scouting for All training session as an introduction to inclusion in Scouts before attending this session. You can book onto this via our website: https://wansdykescouts.org.uk/events/

Who the session is for:

Any volunteer who would like to learn more or develop their skills in working with young people and adults with autism.

This session is open for bookings for volunteers in Wansdyke Scouts. If spaces remain, we will open the session up to other volunteers outside of Wansdyke.

Please note: this session is not open to the general public.
