Module 7: Scouting for All

Date: Tuesday 10th September
Venue: High Littleton Scout Hall, High Littleton, BS39 6JD
Times: The hall will be open from 6:45pm for teas and coffees, and the session will begin promptly at 7pm.
Parking: Please use on-street parking around High Littleton if possible, as the hall car park is small and section meetings will be in progress.
Session details:
You’ll learn about inclusion, and how to make Scouts more inclusive for all.
You’ll also learn about equality, diversity and inclusion (the legal bits), inclusive language, and where to find further information.
We’ll particularly cover. making Scouts more inclusive to:
- those with additional needs
- girls and young women
- those of minority ethnic communities
- those of a variety of religious backgrounds
- those of a variety of socio-economic backgrounds

Who the session is for:
Any volunteer who would like to learn more and develop their skills surrounding inclusion in Scouts.
This module is currently mandatory for those completing a Wood Badge, but would also be useful as a refresher or for those looking to build their confidence in this area.
This session is currently open to Wansdyke Scouts volunteers. If we have remaining spaces, we will open this up to surrounding districts.
