How to submit a Nights Away Notification

Submitting the notification

1. Login to ‘My Membership’ on Scouts.org.uk (visit our login help guide if you don’t know how to do this)
2. Scroll down to the section which says ‘Complete a nights away form’ and click it
3. Click on each section (‘Event Information’, ‘Event Leadership Information’ and ‘Planning and approvals’) and complete all sections
4. Attach your risk assessment under the ‘Risk assessment attachment’ section
5. Check all details and press the blue ‘Submit’ button

Checking the status

1. To see the status of your notification, scroll down to ‘Programme support’ on the left hand side of the page and click the + sign
2. Press the + next to ‘Nights away notifications’
3. Press ‘My nights away applications’
4. All submitted notifications will appear with the current status shown (submitted, approved, rejected, etc.)
