An ecobrick is a plastic bottle packed with plastic to create a reusable building block. Ecobricks are used to make modular furniture, garden spaces and full-scale buildings such as schools and houses in less fortunate countries. As a district we hope to make something with the bricks we collect in a public place with a plaque to tell people about Ecobricks and what we have done and how much plastic we have saved from the Biosphere.  This is all plastic that would go into landfill or the ocean and damage our planet and animals. More information can be found at www.ecobricks.org or on the facebook group 'Ecobricks UK' or contact Tina Curtis - District Commissioner
